Indiana should follow Tennessee’s example

While the future of the new Indiana State Archives Building hangs in the balance, Tennessee lawmakers are moving forward with funding of a new State Library and Archives building with a budget of a cool $98 million!  While Indiana’s Archives will not be sharing the building with the State Library, lawmakers should take a serious look at offering a budget that will provide Hoosiers with a building that will offer state of the art facilities to house and protect our records and provide space for incoming records over the next few decades.
