The Friends of the Indiana State Archives (FISA) offers two research grants of up to $500 each for research in records in the Indiana State Archives. Graduate students at the masters and doctoral levels enrolled in accredited universities are eligible to apply.
Applicants may apply at any time. FISA will notify applicants within one month regarding its decision on the application.
The grant funds will be forwarded to the successful applicant after:
- completion of research in the Indiana State Archives,
- submission of a report outlining the research undertaken, and
- submission of copies of all receipts associated with the research visit.
FISA will also ask that the recipient write a blog or article for the FISA website/newsletter.
