Become A Volunteer

Are you interested in volunteering at the Indiana State Archives? You have two opportunities to do so!

In-person:
  • A variety of projects, ranging from re-foldering to data entry and lots in between,
  • Flexible schedule – weekly, monthly, seasonal
  • Contact the Indiana State Archives for more information, arc@iara.in.gov
Virtually:
  • The Indiana State Archives uses FromThePage, an online transcription program. There is no cost to sign up, and you can volunteer from your home. The Archives posts new projects regularly.

FISA supports the recognition program to thank the archives volunteers for their hours of service, including a 100 Hour Club, a 500 Hour Club, and even a 1000 Hour Club.
